Katie Schorr
received her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Hunter College in 2021. Her writing has appeared in McSweeney’s and Mother.ly (formerly parent.co). Katie is currently teaching writing at BMCC in Manhattan. She also narrates audiobooks and occasionally appears in television commercials. Katie spent her twenties studying improv and performing original work at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Ars Nova, the Ensemble Studio Theatre, and a handful of sticky-floored black box basements. Katie is married to another writer, Lance Rubin, with whom she’s raising two children.
